Lester Graves Lennon has authored three collections: Lynchings: Postcards From America (WorldTech Editions, 2021), My Father Was a Poet (CW Books, 2013), and The Upward Curve of the Earth and Heavens (Story Line Press, 2002). He was appointed Altadena Poet Laureate Editor in Chief, 2024-26. He is the long-time poetry editor of Rosebud literary magazine, a member of the board of directors of the Community of Writers, and a member of the Board of Visitors for the English Department at the University of Wisconsin. He was a founding member of the Los Angeles Mayor's Poet Laureate Task Force, playing a crucial role in creating the L.A. Poet Laureate position.
